Pickled Silver (Can be any salmon) Salmon
- Pickling Salt
- 2 silver salmon fillets, cubed
- 1 part water
- 1 part white vinegar
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 Tbsp peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- Cauliflower
- White Onions
Brine fish in salt 12 days. Rinse repeatedly and soak overnight. Boil water, vinegar, sugar, bay leaf and peppercorns. Allow to cool. Layer salmon, cauliflower aqnd onions. Pour pickling liquid to rim and allow to pickle for 24 hours.
